Dr Torsten Seemann is a research fellow at the Victorian Bioinformatics Consortium based at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. He completed his Ph.D in 2002 at the Department of Computer Science, Monash University with the thesis topic Digital Image Processing using Local Segmentation.
Torsten is a newbie BioPerl developer, but has been using it since 2002 for genome annotation and other Bioinformatics tasks.
