Project hardware

Some of the computer hardware we have in place for the Open Bioinformatics Foundation include

• dev.open-bio.org is the read-write CVS server
• code.open-bio.org is the anonymous read-only CVS server.
• portal.open-bio.org webserver and mailing list server, to be replaced by newportal.open-bio.org and aliases to lists.open-bio.org

We have a speedy new server hosted in a secure facility with redundant power and a fast internet connection. Still, our backup system is rather irregular. Please do not keep unique or critical data on the Bioperl server. You have been warned.
