This module is a plug-in for the Bio::SearchIO system and provides the regular expressions and parsing of BLAST reports. This includes the many flavors of BLAST including WU-BLAST, NCBI-BLAST, Paracel/TimeLogic results, BLAT's BLAST-like output. XML output from NCBI-BLAST is parsed with Bio::SearchIO::blastxml and tabular (-m 9 or -m 8) output is parsed with Bio::SearchIO::blasttable.
