Mark Yandell

Dr Mark Yandell is an associate professor at the University of Utah. Mark did his postdoc with Dr Warren Gish before joining Celera to work in the Genome annotation group which lead to automated annotations of Human and Drosophila genomes. He spent some time at the BDGP. Mark has used BioPerl in his Comparative Genomics Library.
He is the co-author of the BLAST book from O'Reilly, along with Ian Korf and Joseph Bedell.
