GLEAN
From BioPerl
GLEAN is a gene predictor combiner tool used to generate a single set of gene predictions from a collection of predictions. It uses the LCA for the statistics of choosing the best set of gene features based on available splice-site, start, and stop codons. The software is freely available at the Glean-Gene sourceforge site.
It has been used in the Honeybee genome[1], Coprinus (mushroom), EGASP GenomeBiology issue, NGASP, and other genome annotation pipelines.
