BioRuby

The BioRuby project aims to implement an integrated environment for bioinformatics with the Ruby language. The BioRuby library follows the wp:KISS principle in order to maximize its usability and efficiency for biologists as a daily tool. The project was started in Japan and supported by the University of Tokyo (Human Genome Center), Kyoto University (Bioinformatics Center) and the Open Bioinformatics Foundation (OBF).
