Forgot to mention, there is an alternative text-based lazy parser
('blast_pull') by Sendu Bala which appears to parse correctly.  I highly
recommend using that one, as it's possible we'll eventually transition to using
a lazy parsing framework (lots of advantages, only a few disadvantages).
